Graphic Design of Music Album
to commemorate 40 years of Villa Atma Museum in Zakopane (Poland)
Music was composed by Karol Szymanowski, famous Polish pianist.
His compositions were played by Mariola Cieniawa.
The inspiration for the graphic elements were folk motives from mountain region of Zakopane in Poland. Organic wood textures and Szymanowski's dynamic and disturbing music reminded me of the sharp wind smudges.
Villa Atma is a unique example of Polish folk style in architecture in late XIX century. Nowadays it houses the Museum of Karol Szymanowski.
